It all started around two decades ago in our family kitchen,
and it's never really stopped.
Our story is simple: we love what we do.
As a family-owned bakery, we believe cookies are one of life's great small joys - and we're here to bake that joy into every batch we make.
We bake with real skill and quality ingredients, using traditional home-baking methods and recipes developed by foodies and chefs - not technicians and manufacturers. It's this small batch approach that makes us a true artisan cookie brand, not a mass-produced one.
Our cookies are a little bit more than just cookies.
They're handmade using only the best ingredients, so every bite has more of the choc chunks, tangy apricot or chewy dates you're after.
Proudly New Zealand-owned and 100% NZ-made, we source from local suppliers wherever we can, because that's how a local cookie brand makes the best-tasting cookies we know how.

Our journey
In 2002, the Molly Woppy story began in a home kitchen with a batch of biscotti - and it didn't take long for people to fall in love.
From there, we grew into a bakery in Avondale, Auckland,
where you'll still find our NZ cookie company today.
Twenty-odd years on, our artisan cookies sit on shelves in supermarkets, retailers and giftbox companies across New Zealand and Australia.
We've even made it 36,000 feet up, served on board Air New Zealand's premium service.

Behind every great brand is a team who genuinely believes in what they make - and we're no exception.
We started out as a small bakery in West Auckland and have grown into our own factory, now home to a team of over 20 people. But growth hasn't changed who we are: consistent quality, small batch baking, and reliable service remain at the heart of everything we make.
