Celebrating the year with our Molly Woppy whānau at Social Cooking
We wrapped up the year in the best way we know how at Molly Woppy – with good food, great people, and a whole lot of laughter. Our annual staff Christmas party brought together our full team from across the bakery, warehouse, and office for a festive Masterchef-style experience at Social Cooking in Auckland.
A Christmas masterchef challenge to remember
This year’s celebration was extra special. Instead of a traditional lunch, our team stepped into the world of mystery boxes, time challenges, and creative cooking. Social Cooking’s Christmas Masterchef experience gave everyone the chance to put their skills to the test.
Flour was flying, ingredients were disappearing fast, and it didn’t take long for the competitive spirit to kick in. We discovered we’ve got some seriously talented cooks in our Molly Woppy whānau – and some who may stick to baking cookies!
Bringing our team together
What made the day so memorable was seeing our people connect in a different way. Our bakery team swapped mixers for mystery ingredients, our warehouse crew became plating pros, and our office staff jumped right into the heat of the kitchen. It was a chance to bring everyone together, strengthen relationships, and celebrate the mahi that goes into making Molly Woppy what it is.
Celebrating the people behind the magic
Behind every Molly Woppy cookie is a team of passionate, hardworking humans. From mixing and baking, to packing and shipping, to keeping everything running behind the scenes – our people are the reason our products make it onto shelves, into homes, and onto Christmas tables across Aotearoa.
We’re incredibly grateful for the dedication, creativity, and spirit our team brings every day. This celebration was our way of saying thank you and acknowledging another year of growth, innovation, and delicious bakes.
Looking ahead to 2026
As we head into a new year, we’re excited for the opportunities ahead – new products, new flavours, and plenty more moments to celebrate together. If our Christmas cooking challenge taught us anything, it’s that teamwork, creativity, and a bit of friendly competition make for something pretty special.
Here’s to our incredible Molly Woppy whānau and another big year of baking in 2026.
